Stanly Avengers exists to bridge the gap between history, opportunity, and the next generation.

Rooted in Stanly County and expanding across Central North Carolina, we preserve legacy, uplift overlooked stories, and equip youth and families with the tools, identity, and confidence needed to build brighter futures — not just for today, but for generations to come.

WHAT WE DO

🕊 The Kingville Project

We preserve, protect, and activate the history of Albemarle’s first Black school campus and the community that built it — transforming local history into a living, educational experience that connects to broader conversations around equity, education, and preservation.

🏛 Black History & FGEMS Community Empowerment

Our programs are rooted in FGEMS:
Financial Literacy • Generational Wealth • Education • Mental Wellness • Second Chances

We connect history to real-life outcomes — helping youth and adults build economic stability, personal growth, and workforce readiness.

🎓 Youth S.T.E.A.M., Trades & Arts Workshops

We provide free, hands-on workshops that introduce students to:
• STEM & Artificial Intelligence
• Skilled Trades & Workforce Pathways
• Arts, Media & Creative Expression
• Entrepreneurship & Branding
• Leadership & Life Skills

Serving students across Stanly, Cabarrus, and surrounding counties, our goal is simple: exposure leads to opportunity.
