Stanly Avengers bridges the gap between history, opportunity, and the next generation.
Rooted in Stanly County and expanding across Central North Carolina, we preserve legacy, uplift overlooked stories, and equip youth and families with the tools, identity, and confidence needed to build brighter futures — today and for generations to come.
Preserving, protecting, and teaching the full history of Albemarle’s first Black school campus and the community that built it — connecting local history to regional conversations on education, equity, and preservation.
Community-centered programs grounded in Financial literacy, Generational wealth, Education, Mental wellness, and Second-chance pathways (FGEMS) — linking history to economic opportunity and workforce readiness for youth and adults.
Free, hands-on workshops introducing students to technology, skilled trades, arts, AI, career readiness, and leadership development — designed to support youth across Stanly, Cabarrus, and surrounding counties as regional demand grows.
